The united research and development team of the research and development centre of major shareholder, CALT, comprises the united research and development team for battery management system of the Institute 18, united research and development team for vehicle control and drive of the Institute 15 and the material processing team of the Institute 703.
- Vehicle Control Technology for Electric Vehicles (the Institute 15)
- The CALT Institute 15 has its traditional special advantage in vehicle control and integration. China Energine cooperates with the Institute 15 to develop components relating to vehicle control system, drive and etc, and exploit the electric vehicle market jointly
- China Energine and the Institute 15 work together and strive to research, develop and produce pure electric power and control system for electric vehicles. Products will be widely applied in pure electric-powered passenger vehicles, pure electric-powered passenger cars, pure electric-powered sanitation vehicles, pure electric-powered mobile post cars and other types of vehicles, providing vehicle manufacturers with packaged solutions for power and control systems for pure electric-powered vehicles

- The Institute 18 owns its professional expertise foundation in the areas of motor driver, battery charger, energy control system PCS, battery management, wind power converter, and its products are widely applied in industries including wind power generation, photovoltaic generation, energy storage and aerospace
- China Energine, together with the CALT Institute 18, has made great progress in developing battery management system in respect of small wind and solar power storage integration. It is intended to fully equip the battery products with such system in effort to capture the market in its next phase
