Prospective preparations enable the group to play an important role in the development of the technicality on wind power generation. At present, the R&D Centre for Wind Power hires over 120 technicians, who have high R&D capability and rich management experience, various calculation and simulation software applicable to large wind turbines, as well as environmental mechanics and motor control laboratories, laying a solid foundation for the development of wind power equipment.
The R&D centre provides a technical guarantee for the domestic production of 900KW direct-drive wind turbines. It develops the 2MW direct-drive wind turbine with self-developed intellectual property rights. It helps produce 3MW-5MW permanent-magnet direct-drive wind turbines in effort to cope with the development of offshore wind power in the future.
